The Hello Lamp Post! in Bristol, UK is an innovative project that allows people to text the codes they see on street furniture such as lamp posts and bus stops. They text the code they see to a particular number to engage in a conversation. The messages are made to interact through human speech with artificial intelligence which shares information about the history of the city.
I wish we have something like this here in the Philippines but I think there are more pressing issues to work on. Before these codes can be placed on the street furniture, I think it can be simulated in a particular area first that has safer grounds than the city. When I think about the city, I get reminded by the need to improve the transportation system and the roads among some of the opportunities for improvement in the Philippines. Having this would be interesting for tourism though.
Great idea! Thanks to Springwise for that post.
