Japan Chronicles 10 – Shibuya Crossing (May 23, 2013)
I remember Shibuya as one of the busiest areas in Tokyo, Japan that houses numerous food and fashion centers. It surrounds the Shibuya Station that is the busiest railway station as well. There are many things you can do in Shibuya if you’re the type who enjoys youthful fashion and culture. Some of the famous spots here are Starbucks and Shibuya 109.
We only had limited time to spend in Shibuya so we targeted the crossing itself and the Hachiko statue. I could not go home without checking what this was about. True enough, it was a spectacular sight of organized chaos.
Check out the famous Starbucks behind!
Look at the guy!
That’s Hachiko over there. The movie makes me cry every time.
You may take JR Yamanote Line to Shibuya Station and exit Hachiko. If you don’t enjoy as much shopping that Shibuya brings, there are numerous tourist spots in Tokyo for you.
