Steak with Chimichurri

  • 300g steak
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • juice of 1 lime
  • chimichurri sauce


  1. Whisk together oil, chilli powder, onion powder, salt and lime.
  2. In a ziplock bag, add in marinade and steak. Seal and chill for 30mins or overnight.
  3. Heat oiled pan or skillet to medium-high heat. Sear steak for 8-9 mins, turning over once, until outsides are brown and internal temperature of steak is at 130F.
  4. Serve with chimichurri sauce.
